Skin benefits:

  • Protects against damage from ozone and other air pollutants.

  • Inhibits UVA-caused lipid peroxidation and glutathione depletion of sun exposed skin.

Skin benefits:

  1. 1. Antioxidant Protection: Neutralizes free radicals generated by environmental stressors like UV radiation, pollution, and potentially blue light.  By neutralizing free radicals, blueberry stem cells help to reduce oxidative stress, which is a major contributor to premature aging, inflammation, and other skin concerns.

  2. 2. Skin Barrier Support: Some studies suggest that blueberry stem cells may help strengthen the skin's natural barrier function. By supporting the skin barrier, blueberry stem cells can enhance the skin's resilience and ability to withstand environmental stressors.

  3. 3. Anti-Inflammatory Effects: The antioxidant and other bioactive compounds in blueberry stem cells may have anti-inflammatory properties, helping to soothe irritated or inflamed skin.

  4. Reducing Redness: This can be beneficial for individuals with sensitive skin or conditions like rosacea.

  5. Collagen & Elasticity Boost – The bioactive compounds in blueberry stem cells may help stimulate fibroblast activity.

  6. Microbiome-Friendly – The ferment filtrate supports a healthy skin microbiome, promoting a balanced and resilient skin environment.

Multi-functional ingredients:

Leuconostoc /Radish Root Ferment Filtrate (used as a preservtive) is a natural antimicrobial and antifungal peptide based preservative made by fermenting Raphanus sativus (radish) roots with Leuconostoc from kimchi. Fermentation with Lactobacillus naturally produces lactic acid in amounts sufficient to be gently exfoliating. Skin benefits include pore cleansing, skin brightening, hydration and a healthier microflora.
