Shipping & Returns
What is your return policy?
Due to the custom nature of our skincare we do not offer refunds or accept returns on custom products. However, we want you to be happy with your
purchase and enjoy lasting results. If you experience skin issues or have other concerns please contact us within 10 days of receiving your products. If a fix is
possible, we’ll do our best to reformulate the product for you. We may ask you to send the unused portion of your current product back to us for analysis. In
addition, we charge a reformulating fee of $50 per product, plus the cost of shipping. This offer is valid once per order.
What are your shipping policies?
The Skincare Bar does not yet ship Internationally.
Domestic orders are generally shipped within 2 business days from the time of formulation. If you need your custom order sooner, please discuss that with
your formulator and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Orders of $525 (before tax) or more ship complimentary, all other orders ship via calculated rate determined at time of purchase.
Please ensure that your address is correct upon placing your order.
We require a signature for all orders exceeding $500 in value to prevent package theft and to ensure that your items are not left in extreme weather
conditions on front door steps, porches, etc.
The Skincare Bar/Skin Santa Monica does not waive this signature requirement for any reason. Please make sure you are sending your parcel to a location
where a representative is available to sign for it.
We do not mail to PO boxes. If the client enters a PO box as their shipping address they will be required to provide an alternative address before their order
is mailed.
Incorrect or Damaged Merchandise
In the event that the merchandise delivered to you is incorrect or damaged, please contact The Skincare Bar via e-mail immediately. Please include your
order number, a photo of the damage or items received, and a photo of the shipping box. Without the above information, we cannot honor any request for
replacement products.
The client must submit a request within ten days after receiving their package(s). Requests submitted that are more than ten days old will not be honored.
Returned Merchandise
If the client's parcel is returned to The Skincare Bar due but not limited to a failure to sign for a package when a signature was required, or for any other
reason, the client will be responsible for postage to have their item re-sent. These fees must be paid before items are shipped.
Abandoned Merchandise
The Skincare Bar will hold returned items for 30 calendar days from the time it is received by The Skincare Bar. After 30 calendar days, if the client has not
paid their return shipping charge, the items are considered abandoned and the client will have to repurchase new products. The Skincare Bar will not
provide a refund, exchange or credit for abandoned items returned to our facility.
